The partnership between Parallel 49 Brewing and THE LAB is grounded in a shared commitment to craft, community, and authenticity. Founded in early 2026 by Eduardo Ramos, THE LAB is a grassroots Vancouver collective that creates genuine opportunities for local R&B and Hip-Hop artists to perform, connect, and develop. Parallel 49 was drawn to THE LAB’s independent spirit and its focus on nurturing emerging talent, seeing strong alignment with its own values of supporting Vancouver’s creative culture and fueling the journey from studio to stage.

This synergy is most visible at THE LAB’s high-energy events, where 20–25 artists perform one track each, receive live feedback from industry judges, and collaborate with DJs, dancers, and visual artists. Parallel 49 contributes as a key local partner, helping bring these showcases to life. Together, the two organizations aim to build a sustainable creative ecosystem in Vancouver and eventually expand across Canada by supporting artist development, branding, and long-term career pathways.
